Five Star Group has begun construction on the 50-story Five Star Odyssey apartment-hotel complex and sea tunnel number 4 in Vung Tau. The commencement ceremony took place on 13/7 at Five Star Odyssey, located in Vung Tau Ward, TP HCM. This dual development underscores Five Star Group's synchronized investment strategy, designed to elevate Vung Tau's resort experience and contribute to the city's urban transformation.
Strategically positioned in the heart of Bai Sau, Vung Tau's most dynamic area, Five Star Odyssey offers convenient access to Thuy Van beach, commercial centers, marinas, golf courses, and existing resort services. As Vung Tau expands its development alongside TP HCM, central coastal land is becoming increasingly scarce, giving projects along Thuy Van street a distinct advantage.

Five Star Odyssey is an integrated model featuring luxury apartments and a 5-star international standard hotel. The 50-story complex will house over 1,200 apartments and hotel rooms. It is set to become a new icon for Vung Tau's tourism, embodying Five Star Group's commitment to developing high-quality, sustainable products. The design, inspired by a lighthouse rising from the coastal city, will create a new landmark on Vung Tau's skyline. Sol E&C, the general contractor, and Artelia, the supervision consultant, ensure the project's quality and progress.
In parallel with the structural construction of the Five Star Odyssey tower, Five Star Group also broke ground on the sea tunnel number 4 project along Thuy Van street. This involvement in developing coastal connecting infrastructure reflects Five Star Group's focus on creating sustainable value and enhancing the overall experience in the Bai Sau area.

At the ceremony, a representative from Sol E&C, the project's general design and construction contractor, confirmed the company would provide comprehensive solutions, from design and construction to project handover. Leveraging extensive experience with large-scale projects, particularly super high-rise buildings with basements near the sea, Sol E&C committed to dedicating resources to ensure timely completion, high quality, and strict adherence to labor safety and environmental protection standards.
Sol E&C also stated that construction methods would be optimized to minimize impact on the area's landscape and tourism activities throughout the building process. The firm is collaborating with Artelia to closely supervise Five Star Odyssey's quality, safety, and progress.
For Five Star Group, developing this complex on the Thuy Van coastal axis marks a significant milestone in its growth strategy. Five Star Odyssey previously received recognition at the Hubexo Asia Awards 2026 (formerly BCI Asia Awards). According to the company, this award acknowledges its real estate development capabilities and its dedication to creating iconic projects that meet international standards for architecture, planning, and sustainable development. With its central coastal location, 50-story scale, and the involvement of Sol E&C and Artelia, Five Star Odyssey is poised to become Vung Tau's new architectural highlight, enhancing the city's appeal on the map of high-end tourism and luxury resorts.
