FPT Group will provide AI-integrated digital transformation services to a leading Asian energy group. The Vietnamese technology company will provide the client with products such as custom software, data engineering, mobile solutions, and cloud computing.

Previously, FPT signed several large contracts, worth over $100 million, with clients from the US, Germany, and Singapore. These contracts have generated stable long-term revenue for the company.

Founded in 1988, FPT is a Vietnam-based technology company. The company currently focuses on research and development in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, automotive software technology, digital transformation, and green transformation.

Technology is FPT's core business, generating its first billion-dollar revenue in 2022, with 25,500 billion VND. This figure more than doubled last year, reaching 39,000 billion VND.

According to the business results for the first eight months, the technology segment remains the main growth driver, bringing in 27,123 billion VND in revenue for FPT. This represents an 11% increase compared to the same period last year and accounts for 62% of the group's total revenue.

The telecommunications segment also increased by 12.3%, reaching 12,611 billion VND in revenue, thanks to strengthened sales activities and optimized internet service packages.

Over the first eight months, FPT recorded revenue of 43,818 billion VND, a 10.5% increase compared to the same period last year. Net profit was 5,939 billion VND, an improvement of 18.6%.

This year, FPT aims for revenue of 75,400 billion VND, a 20% increase compared to 2024. Pre-tax profit is expected to be 13,395 billion VND, a 21% increase. Thus, the company has achieved 62% of its annual profit plan after eight months.
