The price of RON 95-III gasoline (the most common type) decreased by 30 dong to 20,400 dong per liter. E5 RON 92 also dropped by 100 dong, now at 19,750 dong.
Conversely, diesel rose by 170 dong to 18,640 dong per liter. Kerosene is priced at 18,360 dong per liter, and mazut at 15,090 dong.

From 1/8, Petrolimex and PVOIL, the two largest fuel distributors, began a pilot program selling E10 gasoline, a biofuel containing 10% ethanol. The Ministry of Industry and Trade is also proposing to sell only E10 gasoline starting next year.
