In August, the newest authorized 3S GAC Motor Binh Tan dealership opened at 59J Vo Van Kiet, An Lac (Ho Chi Minh City). This is the 11th dealership in the company's network, aiming to expand to 20 dealerships in 2025.
GAC Motor's three models in Vietnam
GAC Motor currently distributes three models in Vietnam: the M8, M6 Pro, and GS8.
The M8, a large MPV, boasts a striking exterior with a large grille featuring chrome bars extending from the hood to the front bumper. The headlights, dubbed "Awakening Eye" and inspired by the gaze of a lion, offer adaptive automatic adjustment and welcome lights.

The interior features independent second-row seats with massage, cooling, and heating functions, an air purification system, and a panoramic sunroof with a starry sky effect. The vehicle is equipped with a 2.0 turbocharged engine and an 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission. GAC calls the M8's airbag system a "matrix," offering 360-degree optimization, combined with nearly 20 safety features like fully automated parking assist (FAPA) and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
In the SUV segment is the GAC GS8, with a distinctive V-shaped chrome grille and dual headlights. It features a 2.0 turbocharged engine producing 248 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission. The GS8 utilizes GAC's proprietary Megastar chassis platform, independent suspension, and intelligent ADAS technology.

The cabin features dual 12.3-inch screens, premium leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a meticulously designed sound insulation system.
The M6 Pro is a mid-size MPV. The GL version is equipped with a 1.5 turbocharged engine paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, producing 174 horsepower and boasting a fuel consumption of 7.2 liters/100 km, according to the manufacturer. The vehicle measures 4,793 × 1,857 × 1,765 mm (length × width × height) and features 18-inch wheels. Exterior highlights include a bold front grille, matrix LED headlights, and taillights with 230 LED points.

The M6 Pro's interior features dual screens, dual-zone automatic climate control with PM 1.0 fine dust filtration, plasma air purification, and an air quality sensor. The vehicle also includes a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and an ADAS safety package.
Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC Group) is a Fortune Global 500 company, ranked 165th in 2023, with 11 consecutive years on the list. It has nearly 20 years of experience in joint ventures and production with Toyota and Honda in the Chinese market.
In Vietnam, the GAC brand is distributed by Tan Chong Group through its subsidiary, TC Services Vietnam (TCSV), since 2024. Tan Chong, one of the largest automotive groups in Malaysia, has been operating in the Vietnamese automotive industry for nearly two decades and owns a global-standard assembly plant in Da Nang. The group also exclusively distributes GAC AION gasoline, PHEV, and electric vehicles in the Malaysian market.
