Gasoline prices rise, oil prices fall

Effective 3 PM today, gasoline prices will increase by 670-720 VND per liter, while oil prices will decrease by 340-490 VND per liter, reflecting global energy market fluctuations.

According to the inter-ministerial management, the price of E10 RON 95-III gasoline increased by 670 VND to 23,270 VND per liter. E5 RON 92 gasoline saw an increase of 720 VND, reaching 22,480 VND per liter.

Conversely, diesel products decreased by 340 VND, with a new price of 27,740 VND per liter. Mazut (fuel oil) is now 17,640 VND per kg.

During this period, regulators continued to halt expenditures while simultaneously allocating 200 VND per liter/kg to the diesel and mazut (fuel oil) stabilization fund.

The inter-ministries of Industry and Trade, and Finance stated that global oil and gas markets have recently been affected by information regarding the conflict between the United States and Iran, alongside continued disruptions to oil transportation through the Strait of Hormuz.
