Financial indicators for the enterprise in the first half of 2025, published on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) specialized page, show positive results. Specifically, the enterprise's after-tax profit reached 1,715 billion VND, a 152% increase compared to the same period; undistributed after-tax profit reached over 6,142 billion VND, an increase of 2,555 billion VND, corresponding to a 71% rise compared to the first half of 2024.
The enterprise's growth is driven by a favorable business market, coupled with effective cost management and cash flow strategies.
By the end of QII, Greenfeed's outstanding bank loan balance was 1,849 billion VND, a 6% decrease from QII 2024; meanwhile, bond debt remained at 700 billion VND, part of a domestic private placement issuance.
Previously, in November 2021, the enterprise issued 1,000 billion VND in privately placed bonds with a seven-year term, equivalent to a 43 million USD investment from IFC. This capital was used to expand its pig breeding and commercial pig business, and to invest in expanding its animal feed, slaughtering, and food processing businesses in Vietnam. By 2024, the enterprise had repurchased 300 billion VND ahead of schedule, reducing the outstanding bond debt to 700 billion VND by year-end.
As a result, the capital structure improved: the debt-to-asset ratio decreased from 0,53 times (end of QII/2024) to 0,46 times (end of QII/2025); simultaneously, the bond debt-to-equity ratio fell from 0,15 times to 0,1 times.
The enterprise's profitability showed an upward trend, with ROA increasing from 7,02% to 12,75% and ROE rising from 14,79% to 23,69% in the first six months of the year.
Developing green and circular agriculture
Greenfeed pursues a green and sustainable agricultural model, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2025. The enterprise promotes initiatives to minimize environmental impact and optimize resource utilization in production.
In the energy sector, the company uses rooftop solar power, biomass fuel, and recovers and utilizes waste heat to gradually replace fossil fuels. Concurrently, a silo system for animal feed storage and transportation is implemented, replacing traditional plastic packaging.
Livestock waste is processed into organic fertilizer, biogas is recovered for electricity generation, while wastewater is reused by the enterprise for farm cleaning activities.
