Greenfeed provides over 3,8 million meals to Vietnamese children

Greenfeed's "complete meal" corporate social responsibility program has delivered over 3,8 million meals to children in disadvantaged areas, especially in remote regions.

The "complete meal" program, launched in 2019, leverages Greenfeed's 3F Plus closed food chain model to provide healthy, delicious food to disadvantaged children. The program aims to improve meal quality, addressing the challenge of access to essential nutrition for children during their developmental stages.

The company incorporates pork, chicken, eggs, and processed foods into meals at shelters and schools across the country to diversify children's diets.

To date, the program has donated 386 tons of food, equivalent to over 3,8 million meals, to more than 40.900 children at 50 shelters and 40 schools.

The program's activities extend beyond food aid. Based on local needs, Greenfeed also provides scholarships, school supplies, essential items, health check-ups, nutritional counseling, and organizes recreational activities for children.

According to a company representative, this approach aims to simultaneously meet nutritional, educational, and spiritual needs, fostering comprehensive development for children.

In june this year alone, "complete meal" provided 370 students at Binh Thuy Secondary School in Binh My commune, An Giang province, with gifts such as: G Kitchen food bags, anti-hunchback backpacks, and insulated water bottles. The program also awarded scholarships to 30 students with good academic achievements. This was part of a series of activities in response to the company's action month for children.

In addition to the gifts, the program organized food stalls with freshly prepared meals and games integrating nutritional knowledge, helping participating students access health information visually.

"In QIII, 'complete meal' will continue to provide support in Quang Tri to 525 disadvantaged students. We aim to reach the 4 million meal mark by the end of this year," a Greenfeed representative stated.

Through this community program, Greenfeed leverages its strengths in agriculture and food to improve nutrition for children, a group requiring priority support. This aligns with the company's "Nurturing Goodness - Growing Together" orientation, linking business growth with long-term sustainable community development activities.
