An HDBank representative stated that the awards recognize the bank's efforts in innovation, digital transformation, customer experience enhancement, and support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). For the two preceding years, 2023 and 2024, HDBank also received Euromoney's award for Best Bank for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
HDBank demonstrated substantial digital transformation in winning Vietnam's Best Digital Bank. As of Quarter II/2025, 75% of new customers came through digital channels, online transactions increased by 51%, and 94% of individual transactions were conducted on digital platforms. The bank has also implemented three new-generation digital banking platforms: a cloud-native core banking system and two super-apps, Di HDBank and Di HDBiz.
HDBank's customer-centric strategy earned it the award for Vietnam's Best Bank for Customer Experience. The bank has developed a multi-utility ecosystem, including the SkyJoy-Vietjet link with over 9 million members, a Priority Banking program, and numerous personalized offers to enhance the user experience.
For the Vietnam's Best Bank for SMEs award, HDBank reported an outstanding SME loan balance of over 331,000 billion VND at the end of Quarter II/2025, a 28% increase compared to the end of 2024. The bank is also a pioneer in digitizing credit processes, implementing eKYC, supply chain financing, and developing financial programs for women-owned businesses.
According to a bank representative, this "hat-trick" reflects HDBank's comprehensive development and modernization strategy. "These achievements enhance the reputation of Vietnam's financial and banking sector amidst increasingly fierce global competition," the representative said.
