Home Credit named among 'Best Companies to Work for in Asia' for 5th consecutive year

Home Credit's focus on a people-centric environment, specialized training, and employee skill development has earned it recognition as one of the best workplaces in Asia.

The award ceremony, organized by HR Asia Magazine, took place in Ho Chi Minh City on 14/8. The "Best Companies to Work for in Asia" award, part of the 2025 HR Asia Awards, is based on employee satisfaction surveys conducted across various businesses.

With the theme "The Power of Multi-Generational Workforces", this year's award honors businesses that are building multi-generational workforces, not only attracting, retaining, and engaging talent of all ages, but also unlocking the power of that diversity. Home Credit was highly regarded for its employee engagement and excellent work culture.

Internal surveys at Home Credit revealed that 94% of employees expressed pride in their work environment last year. The company's eNPS (employee Net Promoter Score), which measures employee satisfaction, reached 72 points, and the employee retention rate continues to improve annually.

According to HR Asia, the selected businesses must meet several criteria, including the ability to attract and retain talent, bridge the skills gap between generations, meet the diverse expectations of the workforce, engage teams, and build a future-ready organization.

For many years, Home Credit's human resources strategy has focused on two pillars: fostering a lifelong learning culture and developing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive (DEI) culture. These are considered the foundation for connecting generations, narrowing the skills gap, and promoting collective strength.

With approximately 6,700 employees, the company has created an engaging environment for a multinational workforce spanning from Gen X and Gen Y to Gen Z. In 2024, Home Credit recorded 724,889 training hours, with an average of 116 hours per employee. The courses received a satisfaction rating of 4.83 out of 5.

Lifelong learning has become part of the company's DNA. Home Credit sponsors group and individual courses, personalizes learning journeys, and provides access to the Udemy platform for its employees. In addition, the weekly "Home-Schooled Expert Series" program offers knowledge on skills and technology, led by internal experts and partners. The "Emerging Leadership" and "Elite Leadership Program" courses are also regularly conducted to enhance management capabilities for leaders at all levels.

Combined with its DEI culture, Home Credit cultivates an environment where differences are celebrated, and everyone has equal opportunities for development, regardless of age or background.

"This award motivates us to continuously elevate the employee experience, strengthen our engaging culture, enhance intergenerational collaboration, and build a sustainable organization where all generations can thrive," said Van Thi Hong Hanh, Chief Human Resources Officer at Home Credit Vietnam.
