According to ISS, these two locations are crucial for bulk and tanker operations, serving the energy, industrial, and plantation sectors. They are expected to add approximately 150 vessel calls annually.
The Merak office, led by Haroen Al Rasyid, manages the ports of Cigading, Ciwandan, and Anyer, which handle diverse cargo and operations for heavy industry.
The Dumai port area, overseen by Ahmad Firdaus, is situated along the Malacca Strait and includes the ports of Lubuk Gaung and Pelintung. This cluster is vital for tanker and bulk cargo operations.
Both new offices will provide a full range of services, including: comprehensive ship agency, customs clearance, P&I insurance handling, crew logistics, vessel logistics, bunker supply, and protective agency.
