InterLOG aims to build a green supply chain

InterLOG partners with 6 domestic and international partners to realize its goal of developing a green and sustainable supply chain, marking its 20th anniversary.

The company representative said they will implement a series of programs such as introducing green transport supply chain solutions, collaborating on leadership training, and enhancing internal innovation capabilities. These activities demonstrate the long-term development orientation linked to the environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) goals that InterLOG has pursued since 2021.

Established in 2005, InterLOG has developed through three strategic phases. The first phase (2005-2010) focused on building a corporate culture with the spirit of "Teamwork". From 2011 to 2020, the company positioned itself as a "Supply Chain Innovator", focusing on comprehensive supply chain solutions and enhancing competitiveness. In the current phase (2021-2030), InterLOG is shifting to the "Innovation4ESG" model, integrating innovation with sustainable development.

Nguyen Duy Minh, Chairman and CEO of InterLOG, said that to develop sustainably, businesses need to improve their internal capacity and be responsible to the community and society. "That's why we place environmental factors at the heart of our development strategy," Minh said.

To realize the ESG sustainable development model, InterLOG has implemented a series of solutions to green the supply chain from within the business to the network of customers, partners, and the community. One of the highlights is the "Green Vietnam Journey" program launched in 2023. To date, the company has donated 15,500 trees to localities such as Chau Doc (An Giang), Truong Sa (Khanh Hoa), Ta Dung National Park (Dak Nong), and soon along the Dong Nai River.

At its 20th-anniversary celebration, InterLOG launched the "Green Transport Supply Chain Solution" with partners such as WR1 Trans, WR1 Freight, Dong Nai Port, Quacert, and Shanghai Rainbow. This solution helps optimize operating costs for customers while contributing to reducing carbon emissions in the supply chain.

According to an InterLOG representative, people are the key factor in creating quality services and sustainable solutions. The company implements numerous training programs in specialized skills, leadership, and innovation for its internal team.

Also at the event, InterLOG signed a cooperation agreement with Richard Moore Associates. This is an organization specializing in branding and creativity, aiming to enhance the innovation capacity of the team. The company expects that from this cooperation, higher-value solutions will be developed, serving both domestic and international markets.

In addition, InterLOG expands training activities for the younger generation interested in the logistics field. Recently, the company signed a pilot cooperation agreement on leadership training with Ho Chi Minh City Transport College, implementing a practical customs declaration skills training program for students. This model is expected to help shorten the gap between theory and practice, supplementing high-quality human resources for the industry in the southern region. The company said it will continue to invest in people, technology, and ESG solutions to contribute to raising the position of Vietnamese logistics in the context of global integration.
