The event, held at the Thanh Liet Ward Cultural, Information and Sports Center, attracted a large number of local residents, young people, women's associations, and environmental officials.
Immediately following the launch ceremony, the tree planting activity was carried out at Chu Van An Park, an area designated to become an ecological space for the community in southwest Hanoi. "The newly planted urban trees not only contribute to reducing air pollution, but also aim to build a 'green lung' in the heart of the capital", a representative of the organizing committee said.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Thanh Liet Ward People's Committee emphasized, "This activity not only holds environmental value, but also demonstrates community responsibility on the occasion of National Day. It represents the joint effort between the government, businesses, and people in building a green, clean, and beautiful capital".
According to J&T Express, this activity is a continuation of the "Building the Future - J&T joins hands to plant one billion trees" program, in line with the one billion tree planting project for the period 2021-2025 approved by the Prime Minister.

A J&T Express representative shared, "We consider contributing to a greener Hanoi as part of our commitment to sustainable development. When the government provides direction, businesses take action, and people respond, the effectiveness comes not only from the number of trees planted but also from the change in awareness towards a green lifestyle".
Beyond the tree planting activity in Hanoi, the company has also implemented various other environmental programs, such as planting 15,000 cajuput trees in U Minh Thuong National Park, Kien Giang (2024), contributing to the expansion of the wetland ecosystem.

In 2023, the company recycled waste into student desks and chairs, donating them to schools in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bac Ninh, raising awareness about resource reuse for the younger generation.
A representative of the Center for Communication of Natural Resources and Environment praised the participation of the private sector, stating that the important aspect of the current tree planting movement lies not only in the numbers, but also in the ability to spread environmental awareness to every citizen. The cooperation of businesses like J&T Express creates a synergistic strength for the whole society.
As the country commemorates these important holidays, the trees planted in Chu Van An Park represent not only physical greenery, but also the spirit of connection between generations, between tradition and action for the future. J&T Express stated that it will continue to expand its environmental activities in many other localities, creating a network of green action throughout the country, from national parks to urban areas, from schools to residential areas – contributing to Vietnam's sustainable development journey.
