The suite includes "Green Future," a unit-linked insurance product offering a multi-purpose financial solution that combines protection with investment in unit-linked funds managed by Manulife Investment Management (Vietnam). Its flexibility makes it suitable for various goals and demographics, from young professionals to families seeking long-term protection and investment.
"Green Dream" is a participating insurance product with a guaranteed minimum interest rate, designed to provide protection for parents while helping them save for their children's education and future. Manulife states that compared to previous participating products, "Green Dream" offers greater flexibility by allowing customers to choose different levels of protection based on their needs, all at the same premium cost.

Both "Green Future" and "Green Dream" include a benefit that increases the sum assured by up to 175% compared to the initial amount, without medical underwriting or premium increases. The sum assured automatically increases over time to 150%, with an additional 25% increase upon the birth or adoption of a new child. "Green Dream" also adds a 1% interest bonus for the first 10 years, and both products offer rewards for long-term policyholders.
The third product, "Green Shield," protects customers against 143 critical illnesses. Customers can select from three tiers of coverage: terminal illnesses, early-stage illnesses, and common medical issues. It offers broad coverage and pays out for common conditions like severe thyroid cancer and diabetes complications across all ages, addressing the increasing prevalence of these diseases in younger demographics. Manulife highlights "Green Shield's" higher payout compared to similar products, offering up to 150% of the sum assured for gender-specific cancers. After a terminal illness payout, the policy remains in effect, covering 65 other illnesses.

"Green Provision," a medical expense insurance product, provides daily hospital cash benefits for both regular and intensive care. Customers receive coverage for up to 100 hospital days per year, with no limit on the total number of hospital days throughout the policy term, until the insured reaches 75 years of age. Its affordability and simple claims process are advantages, alleviating the financial burden of medical expenses during treatment.
According to Manulife Vietnam, the "green" product suite represents a new generation of insurance, developed in accordance with the new Law on Insurance Business. These products emphasize transparency, simplicity, flexibility, and competitive pricing.
The expanded coverage and benefits address a wide range of customer needs, from saving for children's education and future, to protection against critical illnesses, reducing hospital costs, and flexible investment for long-term financial goals. Customers can select the insurance solution that best fits their needs. Manulife has also simplified the language used in the insurance contracts, enhancing clarity and making it easier for customers to understand the information.
Tina Nguyen, CEO of Manulife Vietnam, explained that these products are the result of the company's thorough research into financial, health, and medical trends. Manulife's goal is to provide practical solutions that support customers throughout their lives.
Along with the product launch, Manulife is also investing in developing a team of professional consultants trained in insurance finance and medicine. The company has partnered with Hanoi Medical University - Institute for Preventive Medicine and Public Health and the Vietnam Young Physicians Association to implement a training program on essential public health knowledge for its consultants, enhancing their advisory capabilities and enabling closer support for customers.
