MB Bank launches support package for household businesses transitioning to enterprises

Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) introduces a comprehensive support package, including establishment fee assistance, legal consultation, and premium account perks, for household businesses transitioning to enterprises.

Decree 70 issued by the Vietnamese government mandates that eligible household businesses must use electronic invoices and personal income tax deduction documents connected to the tax authorities. This regulation marks a turning point, creating opportunities for over 5 million household businesses nationwide to access tax support policies, capital resources, and transparent market participation as they transition to the enterprise model.

However, this transition presents challenges for many household businesses. Le Thi Hanh, owner of a convenience store in Hanoi, explained that establishment fees, legal procedures, and adapting to enterprise financial management tools are significant obstacles for small businesses like hers.

"Transitioning to the enterprise model requires professional operations and systematic cash flow management, whereas I've always relied on manual methods," she said. Like Hanh, many other household businesses express concerns about operating on digital platforms and lack experience in enterprise-standard management.

Understanding these concerns, MB Bank has launched the "Transitioning to Enterprise Made Easy with BIZ MBBank" support package. Specifically designed for newly established enterprises in 2025 with supporting documentation, this package simplifies procedures and promotes transparent financial management in compliance with legal requirements.

MB Bank is offering 1 million VND in establishment fee support, equivalent to 50-70% of procedural costs depending on the chosen service package, enabling business owners to allocate more capital to their core operations. This amount is directly credited to the BIZ MBBank account upon the first transaction of 500,000 VND or more. The entire process, from account opening and benefit activation to financial management, is conducted online via the BIZ MBBank platform, saving time and ensuring efficiency, simplicity, and transparency.

Businesses opening a BIZ MBBank account receive a premium "Prosperity 6868" account number, which is memorable, symbolically auspicious, and creates a positive impression with partners. Additionally, the bank provides businesses with a lifetime warranty smart payment speaker that announces transactions instantly upon scanning, minimizing errors and reducing the need for cashiers.

Furthermore, customers receive the MB Visa Hi BIZ card—Vietnam's first versatile payment card specifically for businesses. This card supports expenses for online advertising, client entertainment, business travel, and other operational costs. It also integrates invoicing and cash flow management functionalities, aiding businesses in expense accounting, financial control, and legal compliance.

MB Bank also connects clients with reputable law firms for legal consultation, ensuring the transition process adheres to regulations and mitigating future legal risks.

According to Nguyen Xuan Cuong, a representative of MB's Digital Banking Division, supporting household businesses in their transition to enterprises is not just a short-term promotional campaign. It's a long-term mission aimed at fostering a professional and robust micro-SME sector within the economy.

MB Bank's statistics reveal that approximately 40,000 newly established enterprises opened BIZ MBBank accounts in the first half of 2025, representing 45% of the total 91,000 newly registered enterprises in the market. This data highlights the growing trend of prioritizing operational optimization and paperless models to save time, costs, and resources from the outset.

Economic experts believe that with over 5 million household businesses nationwide facing the transition requirement, initiatives like MB Bank's "Transitioning to Enterprise Made Easy with BIZ MBBank" support package, alongside government support, will be crucial in establishing a professional micro-SME force that contributes to the country's economic development in the new era.
