On 16/3, the Hanoi Tax Department launched its "Intensive Month of Accompanying and Supporting Business Households to Comply with Tax Policies and Laws". The event brought together leaders from the Tax Department, representatives from 25 local tax offices, commercial banks, and technology solution providers.
According to the Hanoi Tax Department, the city currently has approximately 350,000 active business households, a number projected to increase to 400,000 in the near future. The regulatory agency aims to promote cashless payments and digital financial management, encouraging each business household to have at least one bank account.
Digital financial services are being encouraged to simplify tax obligations and ensure financial transparency. These include: online tax payments, tax deadline reminders, electronic statements and digital signatures, along with automatic periodic tax deductions.
A representative from the Hanoi Tax Department stated that the collaboration among tax authorities, the banking system, and technology providers is vital for helping business households standardize their financial operations. This comes as many new regulations concerning revenue management and payment accounts for business households are set to be implemented from 2026.

In response to the program, MB introduced the MB Seller - Confident Business digital financial solution suite, designed to help business households manage sales and payments. This ecosystem features: separate business household accounts for clear cash flow management, dynamic VietQR codes per order, transaction notification speakers, and POS and SoftPOS devices for card payments.
The integrated sales management software offers multiple features, such as automatic transaction reconciliation, bookkeeping, and revenue management. The system also supports tax declaration and e-invoice issuance in compliance with regulations. For business capital needs, MB provides credit packages with a maximum limit of 5 billion VND, requiring simple procedures.

A notable recent development is MB's launch of a feature allowing 100% online business household account opening via the MBBank application. Business owners can now register accounts directly on their phones, eliminating the need to visit a transaction counter.
This solution enables business owners to open accounts under the business household's name, ensuring compliance. It also allows them to manage personal finances and sales revenue simultaneously within the same application. The separation of revenue, combined with eTax Mobile integration, optimizes the online tax declaration and payment process. Furthermore, customers receive premium account numbers valued up to 500 million VND, along with integrated payment QR codes.
An MB representative highlighted that their collaboration with tax authorities aims to provide business households with easier access to digital financial solutions, thereby standardizing business operations and ensuring legal compliance.
The participation of Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) in the program initiated by the Hanoi Tax Department underscores the collaboration between banks and regulatory bodies. This partnership supports the business household community in accessing modern, convenient, and legally compliant financial solutions. Through its digital banking platforms, MB aims to foster a transparent, modern business environment, aligning with the economy's digital transformation trend.
