MSB Mastercard Family card honored at the 2025 London Design Awards

The MSB Mastercard Family card won the Platinum award at the 2025 London Design Awards for its unique design, conveying Vietnamese family cultural values on a financial product.

The London Design Awards, organized annually by the International Awards Associate (IAA), celebrates creative achievements in various fields such as interior design, architecture, product design, packaging, media, concept design, and UI/UX. In 2025, the organizers received over 2,300 entries from 35 countries, bringing together designers, companies, and global brands.

According to the judges, the MSB Mastercard Family card impressed them with its creativity, cultural emotion, and high applicability. The product is considered a step forward in "humanizing" financial products, incorporating family values into card design.

Launched in 2024, the MSB Mastercard Family card targets young families in Vietnam. The card's design is inspired by childhood building blocks, recreating everyday moments such as parents guiding their children's first steps, shared trips, and intergenerational care. The four pillars of Vietnamese family values: growth, sharing, nurturing, and gratitude form the product's distinct identity. At the center of the card is the image of a happy family, surrounded by symbols of health, knowledge, and spirit. The word "family" in the corner of the card conveys the message: "Family is the most important thing".

Not only impressive for its emotionally rich design, the card also integrates many features and offers specifically for modern families. Cardholders receive up to 30% cashback on education expenses (tuition, foreign languages, online learning, etc.), health training (gym, yoga, fitness, spa), and 5% when shopping at supermarkets and mother-and-baby stores, along with a flexible credit limit. The card also optimizes the experience for parents with one-touch payment, as it integrates with digital wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and Garmin Pay.

When combined with an MSB payment account, cardholders enjoy an interest rate seven times higher than a regular account with flexible terms, helping to optimize spending and increase financial value for the family.

A bank representative said the MSB Mastercard Family card is not just a financial tool, but also a symbol of care, support, and connection.

"We hope this product will be a valuable assistant for parents in managing finances, saving, and spending smartly every day," the MSB representative emphasized.

Established in 1991, MSB currently has 260 branches and transaction offices nationwide and a network of nearly 400 correspondent banks in 55 countries and territories. The bank has nearly 7,000 employees, serving over 6 million individual customers and nearly 100,000 corporate customers.
