Nanoco Group was established in 1991 under the name Phuoc Thanh, initially focusing on distributing household electrical equipment. The Nanoco brand emerged in 2011. After nearly 35 years of development, the company has built an operational network with over 1,300 distributors and 7,000 sales points nationwide.
The 2025–2026 period marks a significant milestone for the group, as Nanoco's manufactured led lights achieved ETL certification, signaling its expansion into the global market. The company has extended its reach to Cambodia and begun exporting led strip lights to the US market, securing a place for its products in Walmart's retail chain.
To achieve its export ambitions, Nanoco adopted a sustainable growth strategy centered on internal strength, standardization, and market expansion.

The company invested over 40 billion VND in an SMT (surface-mount technology) production line, achieving a placement speed of up to 155,000 points per hour and an accuracy of 99.7%. This new facility reduces assembly errors and enhances product stability and durability. The upgraded line also ensures electronic components are strictly controlled for temperature and humidity during storage before production.
A company representative stated that Nanoco built its quality foundation by assessing lamp lifespan according to IES LM-80/TM-21 standards; operating quality and environmental management systems compliant with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001; and digitizing production management with platforms such as PanaCIM, SAP S/4HANA, and Tableau. The company views this combination of technical standards, system management, and digital data as a transparent basis for ensuring quality in its product development strategy.

To meet the demands of international retail systems, Nanoco's factory underwent rigorous inspections and certifications, including ETL certification from Intertek for electrical safety and RoHS compliance for lead-free materials and restricted hazardous substances. Concurrently, the factory also passed inspections for labor law compliance, working conditions, safety, and welfare requirements in accordance with international regulations. These standards are considered the "passport" for Vietnamese lighting products to maintain a sustainable presence in global retail chains.
A company representative stated that with the ETL certification milestone and its presence at Walmart, Nanoco is embarking on a significant growth journey. "We standardize our products so they can reach distant markets, yet user experience remains the core of our development," the representative said.
