NCB launches Tu Hao Visa card to celebrate 80th National Day

National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB) has launched the Tu Hao Visa Platinum card with two special editions, offering various perks, free issuance, and waived annual fees to commemorate the 80th National Day.

The Tu Hao card comes in two versions, both designed with the national flag's red color combined with unique gold patterns. The Tu Hao Viet Nam version features the map of Vietnam, including the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, set against a bronze drum motif. The limited edition, commemorating the National Day, depicts President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square in 1945, with the golden inscription: "Vietnam has the right to enjoy freedom and independence, and in fact has become a free and independent country".

An NCB representative stated that every detail on the card has been meticulously crafted so that each customer can feel the historical and cultural value, as well as the love for their homeland.

Beyond the special design, the card also offers a unique system of perks designed for customers, providing both practical value and cultural and historical significance. Cardholders receive a "I am Vietnamese" gift set, which includes a passport holder, luggage tag, and an airtag, in addition to free card issuance and waived annual fees.

The card offers a preferential foreign currency conversion fee of 1.5%, supporting customers during international business trips or travel. Cardholders also receive a 100% refund on transactions for museum tickets and domestic scenic spots (up to 200,000 VND per month), and up to 10% cashback on transactions during national holidays like National Day, Hung Kings Commemoration Day, and Liberation Day (30/4-1/5), reflecting NCB's commitment to promoting historical values. With these cashback offers, cardholders can receive up to 5 million VND per month on eligible spending.

The Tu Hao card integrates modern payment features such as contactless payment, online cards, virtual cards, and multi-layered security (OTP, 3D-Secure), accepted at millions of points of sale globally. Customers can apply for the card online through the NCB iziMobile digital banking app with instant approval or at transaction points nationwide.

More than just a card product, Tu Hao acts as a bridge for each customer to spread patriotism and contribute to community building. For every 1 million VND spent, NCB will donate 3,000 VND to the customer's charity wallet on the NCB iziMobile app. Customers can use this amount to support the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Red Cross Society, and partner funds, contributing to the spirit of sharing and unity among Vietnamese people.

Mr. Ta Kieu Hung, General Director of NCB, stated that the Tu Hao card holds both financial value and symbolic meaning, spreading the image, history, spirit, and intellect of Vietnam to international friends. "Patriotism and national pride are always the core strengths of development. We want to turn that sentiment into practical value," he said.

The NCB Visa Platinum Tu Hao card is the latest product in the namesake card line developed by the bank in 2025. Previously, NCB created a buzz on Liberation Day with the launch of the Thong Nhat Visa card, the first product in this line, just before the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification (30/4/1975 - 30/4/2025), attracting thousands of card applications through digital platforms and the hotline.

In addition to launching the Tu Hao card, NCB recently collaborated with Divo Tung Duong and musician Nguyen Van Chung to release the music video "Vietnam - Proudly stepping into the future." The song was composed specifically to celebrate the 80th National Day. With its youthful and heroic melody, the song has garnered attention from fans on various platforms, contributing to the spread of national pride.
