Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company and YCKY shipping line launched the route at Cua Lo port. This new route allows goods from Nghe An to be shipped directly to Dongguan, eliminating the need for transshipment through larger ports. This reduces transit time, logistics costs, and increases competitiveness.
Bui Kieu Hung, General Director of Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company, said the international container route is strategically important, especially for agricultural products, seafood, construction materials, and light industry goods.

YCKY representatives expect the route to become a stable, long-term connection, facilitating trade for businesses on both sides. Business leaders attending the launch viewed it as a significant opportunity for market expansion and expressed hope for further support from management agencies to ensure its effective operation.
Cua Lo port is the closest sea gateway for north-central Vietnam and Laos, playing a strategic role in the region's logistics network. Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company plans to invest in infrastructure, modernize operations, and enhance service quality.
Authorities believe the Cua Lo - Dongguan international container route not only expands import-export markets but also affirms Cua Lo port's strategic role in maritime economic and logistics development. It's expected to become a platform for Nghe An to enhance competitiveness, attract investment, and achieve sustainable development.
