Nutifood invests an additional 6 trillion VND to expand Gia Lai farm

After investing 4.5 trillion VND in its Gia Lai farm and factory, Nutifood is investing an additional 6 trillion VND to increase the herd size, pasture area, and factory capacity.

This was announced at the Gia Lai Investment Promotion Conference 2025 on 29/8. At the conference, Nutifood signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee on comprehensive cooperation, aiming to develop Gia Lai into a "dairy paradise" and a center for high-quality fresh milk production in the Central Highlands region.

To date, Nutifood's total investment in Gia Lai has reached over 4.5 trillion VND, including 3 trillion VND for the farm and 1.5 trillion VND for the dairy processing plant. In the new phase, the company plans to invest an additional 6 trillion VND to expand the farm, upgrade the factory with modern, large-capacity, world-standard production lines.

The 6 trillion VND investment will be allocated to expand the NutiMilk Gia Lai dairy farm from 12,000 to 30,000 cows, increase the barn area from 52 to 187 hectares, and expand the pastureland from 569 to 1,468 hectares. The raw material area for grass and corn grown in cooperation with farmers is also expected to increase from 1,000 to 2,500 hectares, bringing income to local residents and contributing to crop conversion in Gia Lai.

The company will invest in advanced technologies and apply international standards throughout the production process at the NutiMilk Gia Lai dairy farm. This strategy is expected to solidify Nutifood's position in the high-quality fresh milk sector.

Le Nguyen Hoa, Vice Chairman of Nutifood's Board of Directors, said the fresh milk at NutiMilk Gia Lai farm currently has a protein content of 3.5 grams per 100 ml. The milk quality is comparable to that of Australia and New Zealand—two leading countries in dairy farming and production—thanks to the favorable natural conditions and temperate climate in Gia Lai. The company's factory is about an hour away from the farm, ensuring that the milk is processed fresh and safely after milking. In comprehensive cooperation with the province, Nutifood is committed to investing in high-quality milk production while promoting sustainable economic development and improving the lives of local people. "We are striving to build the Gia Lai dairy brand, contributing to making this place a leading fresh milk center in the region," Hoa said.

With the goal of building a comprehensive nutritional product portfolio for every family member, Nutifood identifies high-quality fresh milk as its core foundation. The company states that the naturally protein-rich milk from the NutiMilk Gia Lai dairy farm has a delicious taste, enhancing the nutritional value of all products, from pure fresh milk to ice cream, cheese, yogurt, and fruit milk.

At the conference, Nutifood also introduced its modern, closed production model, from high-tech dairy farming to harvesting, production, processing, and distribution to the market. The Nutifood booth showcased various products such as NutiMilk, NuVi, Värna Life, Merino ice cream, and Celano ice cream. Visitors also enjoyed Nutifood's nutritional milk and fresh ice cream on-site.
