OPES receives two awards at ASEAN awards 2026

Digital insurer OPES honored at ASEAN awards 2026 with two categories: top 10 ESG pioneer enterprises and top 10 trusted brands.

The ASEAN Awards 2026 is part of the 7th ASEAN Economic Forum, aiming to strengthen connections within the regional business community. This marks the second time OPES Insurance Joint Stock Company has been featured in the ASEAN Awards rankings, following its recognition among the top 10 outstanding enterprises in 2024.

The awards celebrate enterprises, entrepreneurs, brands, and products with outstanding achievements in business operations, innovation, and sustainable development. Enterprises are selected based on various criteria, including operational scale, business efficiency, financial capacity, brand reputation, ability to sustain growth, long-term development prospects, and achievements recognized by domestic and international organizations.

OPES's double win acknowledges its digital insurance model, driven by a digital transformation strategy and the application of artificial intelligence, built upon technological platforms, innovation, and customer experience.

With a focus on technology development, minimizing environmental impact, and optimizing resources, OPES implements operational automation across multiple stages. A key highlight is the online insurance contract service portal, which halves the processing time for applications. The Fast Track and Eclaim compensation portals, launched in late 2025 and early 2026, allow customers to submit claims entirely online, eliminating the need for physical copies or complex paperwork.

By integrating business operations with technological innovation, OPES has achieved positive results. Its total gross written premium reached 2,654 billion VND in the first half of 2026, marking a 23,5% increase, surpassing the industry's average growth rate. OPES's market share grew to 5,3%, positioning the enterprise among the top 7 in the non-life insurance market.

OPES has also appeared in various domestic and international rankings and awards, such as VNR500, FAST500, PROFIT500 by Vietnam Report, ASEAN Awards 2024, and a series of accolades from Insurance Asia Awards, including: digital insurer of the year, motor insurance initiative, AI initiative, and claims settlement initiative.

A company representative shared that this series of achievements stems from a consistent development strategy and years of capability building. Established in 2018, OPES has gradually made a mark in the non-life insurance market with its growth rate and innovative initiatives.

After six years of operation, the enterprise can process over 600,000 insurance policies daily, serving approximately 16-18 million customers with a team of over 100 personnel. By 2025-2026, the daily insurance policy volume reached nearly one million on peak days.

In addition to optimizing operations to limit environmental impact, the enterprise implements social responsibility programs in education, healthcare, environment, and social welfare, such as Cap la yeu thuong, Mottainai, hair donation, and supporting the Vietnam Breast Cancer Network. Through the TreeBank program, OPES has supported over 5,000 saplings in various localities, contributing to promoting ecological agriculture, improving livelihoods for residents, reforesting barren land, and increasing climate change resilience.

These awards, along with its product development capabilities, ESG-oriented model building, and technology investments, are strengthening OPES's position in the non-life insurance market.

"This is the foundation for OPES to sustain growth based on innovation and efficiency, aiming for sustainable values for customers, partners, and the community", a company representative emphasized.
