A Vietcombank representative stated the bank aims to turn every step into an act of sharing. In addition to the pledge, the bank encouraged customers to spread the "1 Billion Green Steps" message by donating to the "Step Up With Children" account. After 10 days, Vietcombank customers donated over 2.5 billion VND to support underprivileged students for the 2025-2026 school year. Donation information will be publicly announced on the bank's fanpage and website at the end of the program.

Vietcombank, one of the largest commercial banks in Vietnam with over 60 years of history, aimed to directly support thousands of children on their journey to school through the "1 Billion Green Steps" initiative. The bank hopes to spread humanitarian values and contribute to community building.
"On this great national occasion, Vietcombank sends love and faith to every Vietnamese footstep, so that each step today becomes part of the strength that propels the nation into a new era," the bank representative said.

"Step Up Vietnam," a community walking program, took place in 34 provinces and cities nationwide on the morning of 16/8. Vietcombank was the exclusive banking sector partner for the event, which attracted over 1.1 million walkers and more than 138,000 online registrants.
