The system transports frozen goods at negative 20 degrees Celsius on Carrefour's routes in Hauts-de-France and Paris. This marks the first practical application of the Endurance solution in France, following Sunswap's announcement of its partnership with Chereau at Solutrans 2025 in Lyon, UK.

According to Prevote, Endurance can reduce refrigeration costs by up to 81% compared to diesel-powered systems. Fleet management can monitor temperature and energy data in real time, optimizing operations and route planning. The battery and solar panel system on the trailer operates independently of the tractor's diesel engine.
Stephane Bouvry, Prevote's procurement and fleet manager, stated that trial results recorded 21 hours of continuous operation in frozen conditions, demonstrating a high level of technological maturity. While summer temperatures might slightly impact operating duration, the solar panel system on the trailer's roof largely compensates for these fluctuations.
Prevote is a logistics company specializing in cold transport for supermarket chains across France. The company focuses on optimizing the supply chain for frozen and fresh foods. Deploying this electric refrigeration solution is part of Prevote's strategy to reduce emissions and enhance operational efficiency.
