Mr. Gao Minghui, Chairman and CEO of Protus Group, along with other leaders, highlighted common challenges faced by Vietnamese businesses during their growth phase. These issues include shortages of raw materials, insufficient production capacity, interrupted cash flow due to slow capital recovery, conflicts over payment methods, and limited budgets for marketing activities.
Mr. Gao Minghui described these as "structural bottlenecks" in the supply chain, requiring comprehensive rather than localized solutions. Without systematic support in operational structure design, businesses can easily stagnate despite having orders and significant market potential. Instead of offering only localized solutions, Protus advocates for restructuring the entire business value chain, encompassing raw material procurement, cash flow design, payment methods, logistics, and market access.
The group cited a case study in Kon Tum, where a modified starch processing company had to decline nearly 50 billion VND in orders over six months due to shortages of raw materials and capital. After partnering with Protus in 2023, the company received support in credit coordination, shortening debt cycles, and reducing delivery times by 40%. As a result, its revenue increased fivefold within a year.

Established in 2013, Protus Group specializes in designing and operating integrated supply chains. To date, the group's cumulative sales have exceeded 20 billion USD. Entering the Vietnamese market in 2021, Protus quickly expanded its operations into various sectors, including agricultural product processing, chemicals, plastics, packaging, medical equipment, and consumer goods.
In the Vietnamese market, the company's total transaction value has surpassed 20 million USD, with a 100% contract renewal rate, demonstrating the quality of its services and the satisfaction of its partner businesses.
During the meeting, Mr. Gao emphasized that the company not only provides services but also collaborates with localities to build sustainable supply chain ecosystems capable of self-operation and endogenous development.
"This is a commitment to long-term partnership, not merely a commercial collaboration," Mr. Gao said.
The Tay Ninh Department of Finance stated that the province is undergoing a period of robust transformation, gradually shaping a modern, efficient, and sustainable industrial foundation. Tay Ninh welcomes all initiatives that can contribute to resolving bottlenecks in the value chain and supporting businesses in enhancing their competitiveness, thereby promoting comprehensive and sustainable local economic development.
In the future, Protus will collaborate with the government, industrial parks, and business associations to build stable, flexible, and internationally integrated supply chains. The focus will be on three objectives: industrial upgrading, regional development, and global integration.
The Chairman of Protus stated that this model will be expanded to key industrial provinces such as Binh Duong, Long An, Quang Ngai, and Bac Ninh. Amidst the fluctuations of the global market, the company hopes that its international experience and commitment to development in Vietnam will support local businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, in enhancing their adaptability and achieving sustainable growth.
