PVCFC and Chavi partner to develop agricultural value chain

Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVCFC) and Chavi are collaborating on modern farming models, leveraging the value chain to enhance production efficiency and promote sustainable agriculture.

This announcement was made at a signing ceremony held at PVCFC's Ho Chi Minh City office on 15/9. The agreement outlines a partnership designed to leverage the strengths, resources, and experience of both companies to create added value for the agricultural sector.

Initially, PVCFC and Chavi will focus on foundational cooperative activities, concentrating on crop nutrition solutions in the Tay Ninh region (formerly Long An). They will also utilize existing infrastructure and ecosystems.

At the ceremony, a PVCFC representative highlighted the potential of Vietnamese agricultural products, including limes, in both domestic and export markets. The company aims to implement modern farming models that utilize advanced technology and adhere to sustainability principles to increase productivity and reduce costs, thereby strengthening the brand of Vietnamese agricultural products globally.

PVCFC's leadership also discussed the company's history and development. The partnership with Chavi reflects their strategic direction of expanding into new areas and developing comprehensive, specialized farming solutions.

Chavi Chairman Nguyen Van Hien expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to partner with PVCFC, recognizing their extensive experience and capabilities in the agricultural sector. He believes that combining PVCFC's research and production capabilities with Chavi's raw material areas and processing chain will create significant prospects. Both companies share the goal of enhancing the value of Vietnamese limes and boosting exports in the near future.

Following the signing ceremony, both parties will continue discussions to solidify the agreement with detailed project plans and contracts.
