Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC) was recognized among the Top 10 sustainable businesses in the manufacturing sector and Top 5 businesses for breakthrough corporate governance. This recognition occurred at the Vietnam Sustainable Business Announcement Ceremony 2025 (CSI 2025) held on 5/12 in Hanoi.
The event saw the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc and representatives from various ministries and sectors. Jointly organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD-VCCI), this year's CSI index set featured the most stringent requirements to date, encompassing over 130 criteria related to ESG, risk management, circular economy, and social responsibility.

Amid these increasingly stringent evaluation standards, PVCFC achieved significant positive results. The company recorded a 4,45% reduction in emission intensity and a 5,48% decrease in energy consumption intensity. Notably, the Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant ranks among the top 10 lowest energy-consuming plants worldwide. PVCFC also contributes approximately 10,62% of the national fertilizer market share, implemented a program to plant 300,000 trees from 2022–2025, and allocated 80 billion VND for social welfare in 2024.
Regarding corporate governance, PVCFC continues to standardize its model according to international practices. The company actively promotes digitalization in operations and risk management, enhances information transparency, and strengthens the supervisory role of its board of directors. These improvements optimize resources and boost operational performance as the company expands its scale.
Further reinforcing its strong governance, PVCFC received additional accolades on 3/12 at the Listed Enterprises Voting Program 2025. The company was honored with two awards: Top 8 best corporate governance businesses in the large-cap group and First Prize for sustainable development report in the non-financial sector group.
According to the company, these awards establish an important foundation for PVCFC's new development phase as it transitions its corporate model. The ESG strategy is a long-term guiding pillar, enhancing competitiveness and supporting Vietnamese agriculture in the green economy trend.
