PVCFC expands partnerships to increase market share in Cambodia

Ca Mau Fertilizer (PVCFC) is supplying high-quality fertilizer to several Cambodian businesses, creating a foundation for market share expansion and supporting local farmers.

This information was revealed during a business trip to Cambodia in early September. PVCFC Deputy General Director Nguyen Thi Hien stated that the activity plays a crucial role in the company's goal of expanding its market and seeking strategic partners in Cambodia.

During the trip, the delegation met and discussed with Baitang Plc., one of Cambodia's leading rice exporters. Besides exporting, Baitang is expanding into agricultural supplies, including fertilizers.

At the meeting, PVCFC representatives said Cambodia is considered a potential market with significant advantages in agriculture, especially rice. Annually, the country exports millions of tons of rice, distributed widely across international markets, including Vietnam and Thailand.

The representatives also noted that some challenges remain, such as some farmers still using traditional farming methods and lacking systematic technical support, affecting rice yield and quality. To contribute to improvements, Ca Mau Fertilizer is committed to providing high-quality fertilizer products with transparent origins and stable prices to farmers. In addition to supplying products, the company implements comprehensive technical solutions to optimize farming efficiency. PVCFC's agricultural engineers directly guide farmers on appropriate fertilizer use and advise on scientific cultivation processes, helping save costs, improve productivity, and increase income.

According to the company, the meeting opened up long-term and practical cooperation opportunities. The combination of Baitang's extensive distribution network with PVCFC's product capabilities and technical expertise is expected to quickly bring practical value to Cambodian rice farmers.

Besides Baitang, the PVCFC delegation also worked with other potential partners, such as Rith Chann Vettey Co., Ltd. and Forward Cam International Investment Co., Ltd. These units have capabilities and development orientations that align with PVCFC's vision. By expanding cooperation with strategic partners, the company is gradually building a solid distribution system in Cambodia.

According to a PVCFC representative, the company firmly adheres to the goal of "becoming a companion of farmers at home and abroad". This goal is realized by providing quality fertilizer products, along with knowledge, solutions, and technologies to build a modern, efficient, and sustainable agricultural sector.
