Saigon Thuong Tin Bank (Sacombank) recently announced its rebranding to Saigon Tai Loc Bank. Its English name is Saigon Treasure Commercial Joint Stock Bank, with the English abbreviation Sacombank.
Sacombank operated under the name Saigon Thuong Tin for more than 30 years since its establishment in 1991. The bank adopted its new name following the arrival of Nguyen Duc Thuy.
According to the bank, "Saigon" represents the dynamic, pioneering, and integrated spirit—the origin of the Sacombank brand. "Tai" signifies strong financial capability and operational professionalism, while "Loc" implies good fortune and prosperity.
The new name collectively reflects the bank's aspiration for prudent, effective, and sustainable growth, maximizing benefits for shareholders, partners, and customers.

Sacombank stated that the commercial name change does not affect its business operations or the legal rights and interests of its customers, partners, and shareholders. The name change plan was previously approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders held in Phu Tho on 22/4.
Recently, the bank also strengthened its leadership team, appointing Luu Danh Duc and Nguyen Hoang Hai—both formerly with LPBank—as deputy general directors. Currently, Sacombank's executive board comprises 11 members, including Faussier Loic Michel Marc as acting General Director and 10 other deputy general directors.
