Sacombank supports promoting green transport in TP HCM

Sacombank participates in Thu Duc Digital Day, introducing specialized Metro Pass cards, offering free metro tickets, and promoting green transport and digital payments in TP HCM.

Thu Duc Digital Day 2025, held on 6-7/12 at Thu Duc Metro Station, showcased digital transformation solutions aimed at advancing the city's smart city development. This marked the first time a technology event was hosted within a metro station, offering residents a novel experience.

Sacombank focused on smart transport initiatives at the event, unveiling two specialized cards: Metro Pass and MultiPass. The bank also provided free metro tickets until the end of 2025 to encourage public use of the metro and foster sustainable commuting habits.

Over the past two years, Sacombank has partnered with Urban Railway Company No. 1 to deploy an open-loop automatic ticketing system on Metro Line 1 Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien. This system offers passengers flexible payment options, improving their public transport experience.

Through its participation in the event, Sacombank aims to foster the adoption of public transport and cashless payments, contributing to a green, sustainable lifestyle and a modern, civilized urban environment.
