Sasaki showcases new seafood processing solutions at Vietfish 2025

Sasaki will introduce advanced drying technologies for the seafood industry at Vietfish 2025, aiming to enhance the value of Vietnamese products in the international market.

The Vietfish 2025 international seafood fair will take place from 20/8 to 22/8 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. At this event, Sasaki will showcase advanced drying technology solutions specifically designed for the seafood industry.

As the Vietnamese seafood industry faces numerous challenges in the global market, the application of modern technology to improve product quality is crucial. With over 25 years of experience manufacturing and exporting technology products to Japan and Europe, Sasaki has pioneered bringing Japanese-standard drying technologies to Vietnam.

At Vietfish 2025, the company will introduce its smart freeze-drying technology, which allows drying at a wide temperature range (20-80 degrees C). Its rapid drying capability at low temperatures below 30 degrees C helps preserve the nutritional value of high-grade seafood. According to Sasaki, the closed air circulation system allows this technology to save up to 80% of energy compared to pure electrical resistance drying methods, while retaining the natural flavor and color of the product.

Sasaki's smart vacuum drying technology operates in a low-pressure environment, shortening the drying time and maintaining the texture and flavor of the seafood. This is considered an optimal solution for products requiring special sensory standards, such as seasoned squid and peeled shrimp. With smart freeze-drying technology, seafood is frozen at very low temperatures, then the ice is sublimated into vapor. This process helps maintain the shape, structure, and nutritional content of the seafood, extends shelf life, and eliminates the need for additives.

"Thanks to these technologies, Sasaki offers practical solutions focused on drying seafood at low and ultra-low temperatures, helping to preserve Omega-3 fatty acids, high-quality protein, and heat-sensitive vitamins – components easily destroyed by traditional drying methods," a company representative said. "After drying, the product retains its natural color and characteristic flavor without any quality changes, meeting the stringent standards of demanding export markets."

At Sasaki's booth in the seafood processing technology area at SECC, visitors can experience the equipment and dried products. The company's team of experts will provide direct consultation to help businesses find solutions suitable for their scale, products, and production goals. Special partnership offers will also be announced by Sasaki at the fair.

Applying smart management technology and IoT, Sasaki's solutions also help factories control the entire automatic drying process, ensuring hygiene and optimizing efficiency. According to the company, this is a step forward in helping Vietnamese seafood businesses reduce their dependence on human factors and enhance their competitiveness.

In addition to technology, Sasaki aims for harmonious development through the philosophy of "5 joys": economic value, community, environment, people, and sustainable future. Thanks to this philosophy, Sasaki was honored as one of the "Top 10 Vietnamese ESG Enterprises and Initiatives 2024," recognizing its commitment to green development and social responsibility.
