Optimizing user experience and benefits
The two-week "9/9 Super Shopping Day - Super Fast, Super Cheap" event kicked off the year-end sale season with attractive benefits. Discounts from sellers, xtra vouchers of up to 3 million VND from the platform, a collection of super cheap deals from 9,000 VND, and free shipping programs helped Vietnamese users save over 2 trillion VND on Shopee, according to platform statistics.
Shopee's 4-hour express delivery policy contributed to a faster online shopping experience. The platform recorded nearly 2 million orders of products such as clothing, accessories, food, and pet food successfully delivered using this method.
The entertainment programs were also well-received by users thanks to their new formats and high interactivity. The platform's livestream series not only offered exclusive deals but also featured famous influencers such as Duy Khanh, Jun Pham, Minh Tuyet, Lucie - Tuan Duong, and Hannah Olala.

Users spent over 12 million hours browsing Shopee Live and Shopee Video during the 9/9 event, contributing to over 1.7 billion video and livestream views. Shopee also recorded a 9-fold increase in orders placed via Shopee Live compared to normal days, confirming the effective conversion from viewership to sales of this shopping-entertainment format.
Boosting growth for sellers and brands
Nearly 2 million sellers and brands partnered with Shopee to implement various shopping and entertainment programs for users throughout the event. The platform recorded significant growth across many product categories, creating a foundation for sellers to accelerate their revenue during the peak year-end shopping season.
Shopee's report indicates that the best-selling product categories included skincare, makeup, and household items, with sales increasing 5 to 8 times compared to normal days. Products like face masks, serums, makeup removers, setting powder, laundry detergent, and tissues were prioritized by users during this period.
Shopee Mall was a popular choice for many users due to its guaranteed product quality, authenticity, attractive deals, and flexible free shipping and return policies. This is reflected in the 6-fold increase in Shopee Mall orders on 9/9 compared to regular days.

Simultaneously, Shopee Premium, a channel for purchasing genuine products from high-end and famous brands, also achieved impressive milestones. The number of users shopping on Shopee Premium increased 50 times on 9/9, driving an 18-fold increase in Shopee Premium orders compared to normal days.
