Small businesses use notification speakers to retain customers

Payment confirmation speakers provide audible transaction verification, minimizing errors and ensuring a smooth payment experience. They are becoming a popular choice for small businesses catering to modern customers.

In today's fast-paced world, consumers, especially younger ones, prioritize speed and convenience. Hoai An, an office worker in Hanoi, said she once skipped a restaurant due to long payment queues. On another occasion, she switched venues because a restaurant didn't accept mobile payments.

Thao Vy, a student in Ho Chi Minh City, and many of her friends rarely carry cash, preferring establishments that accept mobile payments. Whether dining or shopping, Vy only needs her phone, making transactions quick and easy without counting change or waiting for refunds.

According to many experts, payment is no longer just the final step but a crucial factor in customer retention. To enhance customer experience, many business owners display QR codes for mobile payments. However, concerns remain. Delayed notifications or fake transaction screenshots can lead to financial losses and erode trust with regular customers.

Nguyen Phuc Anh, owner of a stationery store in Cau Giay (Hanoi), experienced this firsthand. In late 11/2024, he discovered a loss of over 10 million VND despite his staff saving screenshots of each transaction. Some transactions failed and were reversed, while others were fake, not matching bank statements.

After this incident, Mr. Phuc Anh changed his payment confirmation method. He realized relying on screenshots or delayed notifications wasn't reliable. "With an audible notification confirming the transaction, both my customers and I have peace of mind," he said.

Like Mr. Phuc Anh, many small business owners are seeking immediate and reliable transaction verification solutions. Payment notification speakers are a popular choice, providing audible confirmation, minimizing errors, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Ms. Hang, owner of a noodle shop in Ho Chi Minh City, said that since using the speaker, she no longer has to juggle serving customers and monitoring her phone. Customers are also reassured, knowing their transactions are successful without waiting for bank confirmations. At the end of the day, she uses the built-in reporting feature to track her cash flow.

Beyond instant transaction notifications, some providers offer additional features: transparent financial management, daily revenue reports, and micro-loan packages. MoMo, for instance, provides a payment notification speaker and access to a 10-20 million VND postpaid wallet limit, enabling businesses to stock up during peak seasons or promotions.

A MoMo representative noted that these services streamline payments and enhance cash flow management. In the long run, this small speaker not only addresses immediate concerns but also empowers small businesses to improve management, retain customers, and strengthen their competitive edge.
