This collaboration designates three Nestle brands – Milo, Nescau, and Nesquik – as partners supporting NBA basketball development campaigns across four continents. In Vietnam, Milo will lead initiatives to ignite a passion for sports and cultivate active lifestyles among young people.
The partnership framework includes a series of activities designed to encourage youth and families to engage with and experience basketball. Key programs encompass the Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA, NBA Basketball School, Coach Academy, Women's Basketball Program, and the 3x3 Tournament. The agreement also extends to interactive fan platforms such as the international NBA Global Games series and the NBA House experience zones.
Liberato Milo, senior vice president and head of Nestle's Confectionery and Snacks Strategic Business Unit, emphasized the important role sports play in unlocking individual potential. Through the expansive reach of basketball, Nestle aims to provide practical experiences and opportunities for children and families to increase physical activity, thereby fostering healthy living habits and confident community engagement.
