Techcombank announces senior personnel changes

Techcombank has transferred Pham Quang Thang to lead Masterise Group, while appointing Nguyen Anh Tuan as the bank's deputy CEO.

Specifically, Pham Quang Thang will step down from his role as Deputy CEO and Head of Banking Operations Division at Techcombank to assume new responsibilities at Masterise Group, a member of the Techcombank - Masterise Group - One Mount ecosystem. Concurrently, Nguyen Anh Tuan, Head of Retail Banking Division, has been appointed Deputy CEO of Techcombank. These decisions took effect on February 1.

Pham Quang Thang joined Techcombank on November 1, 1994, as one of the bank's first-generation employees. Over his more than 30-year tenure, he held several key leadership roles, including: Chief Accountant; Deputy CEO and Head of Capital Management Center; Deputy CEO for Finance and Planning; and Deputy CEO and Head of Corporate Banking Division, and Head of Credit Approval Division.

During his time at Techcombank, Thang helped build and operate several critical management systems, strengthening the bank's foundation for safety, stability, and sustainable growth. He also fostered and standardized a culture of compliance, integrating risk management and compliance principles into the daily operations of staff.

Nguyen Anh Tuan joined Techcombank in 2006, bringing nearly 20 years of banking experience. Before his appointment as Deputy CEO, he held various management positions in corporate and retail segments, including: Regional Director; Deputy Head of Corporate Banking Division; Head of Financial Advisory and Customer Services Division; and Head of Omnichannel Management. Since November 2023, he has served as Head of Retail Banking Division, responsible for the core business, focusing on omnichannel transformation and enhancing customer experience.

The leadership expects that in his new role, Tuan will establish new standards, create lasting value for customers, drive sustainable growth, and strengthen Techcombank's position in the next phase.

The Techcombank - Masterise Group - One Mount ecosystem has implemented several strategic projects in commerce, infrastructure, logistics, and digital transformation. According to the bank, strengthening the leadership team within the ecosystem aims to meet the demands of large-scale project implementation and enhance management capacity and coordination among units in the next development phase.
