Techcombank offers payroll solutions for SMEs

Techcombank provides payroll services with numerous benefits to help SMEs optimize costs, retain talent, and achieve sustainable growth.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) comprise 98% of all businesses in Vietnam and contribute about 45% to the national GDP, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment. However, many SMEs still face challenges related to budget, technology, and human resources, particularly in maintaining competitive compensation packages to retain employees.

To address these challenges, Techcombank launched a payroll service via the Techcombank Business platform. This platform enables processing up to 3,000 internal transactions and 1,500 external transactions simultaneously, anytime, anywhere, with flexible foreign currency support and simplified documentation.

Businesses can pay salaries, bonuses, and allowances to employees in VND or foreign currencies, both domestically and internationally. The solution also integrates cash flow management packages and preferential credit, helping businesses maintain timely payment capabilities and reduce operational pressure.

For employees, receiving salaries through Techcombank opens up opportunities to access unsecured loans up to six times their income, along with home, auto, and consumer loans with simple procedures and quick approvals. The bank also waives issuance fees and annual fees for the first two years for payment cards. It also offers early access to Inspire membership benefits, which include a range of financial incentives at no additional cost.

Inspire members receive an additional 0.25% interest rate (up to 4.4% per year) for their checking accounts with automatic interest accrual. They also receive an additional 1% annual interest rate on incremental deposits, up to 200 million VND, when depositing for 3, 6, or 12 months on Inspire Day. Furthermore, users earn points and receive up to 5% cashback on spending in essential categories like dining, groceries, and online shopping through the Techcombank Rewards program.

"Thanks to my company's payroll service through Techcombank, I can easily access loans and finance my car purchase. The benefits from the automatic interest program and reward points provide us with a small bonus each month," shared Tran Tuan, an employee at an organic food company in Hanoi.

In addition, the bank also offers several incentives: a 0.5% annual interest rate reduction on new loans (applicable to payroll accounts with a minimum monthly fund of 200 million VND and at least 10 salary accounts), preferential foreign exchange rates of up to 145 points, and up to 3 million VND cashback for spending via Techcombank Visa business debit cards.

Nguyen Van An, Director of a manufacturing company in Binh Duong, said that the bank's fee waivers for the initial years helped his company save on operating costs, allowing them to increase employee benefits.

"Timely salary payments increase employee satisfaction, contributing to building the image of a responsible business, trusted by partners for long-term cooperation," An shared.

Techcombank not only ensures employee benefits but also provides exclusive offers for business leaders to further support their business development. Business owners, legal representatives, and chief accountants receive a 12-month trial Techcombank Priority membership. This includes an additional 0.15% interest rate on savings, end-of-term bonus interest on deposits, and various benefits for travel, education, golf, foreign exchange transactions, and luxury shopping. Priority customers can also access the Techcombank Private Lounge at Tan Son Nhat and Noi Bai airports for relaxation, work, and networking with other leaders.

Tran Viet Hung, Senior Director of Retail Business Development at Techcombank, stated that the bank has been offering personalized payroll solutions for many years, tailored to each business, to help SMEs gain a competitive edge in attracting and retaining talent.

"Along with a comprehensive suite of financial solutions, Techcombank is committed to supporting SMEs in navigating challenges and achieving sustainable growth in this new era, where the private sector, especially SMEs, is the driving force of the national economy," he emphasized.
