Techcombank's auto-invest feature wins gold Stevie award

Techcombank's Auto-Invest 2.0 has been awarded a Gold Stevie in the Customer-Centric Product Design category at the 2025 International Business Awards (IBA).

The International Business Awards (IBA), an annual event hosted by the Stevie Awards, is often referred to as the "Oscars of the international business world." The 2025 awards attracted over 3,800 nominations from 78 countries and territories. Techcombank was the only Vietnamese bank recognized for product innovation and customer-centric design.

In addition to the Gold Stevie for Customer-Centric Product Design, Techcombank also received a Gold Stevie for Product of the Year 2025 and two Bronze Stevies in the Best Use of AI in a Product and Financial Services Product categories.

Stevie Awards President, Maggie Miller, commended the winning organizations for their dedication to innovation and providing tangible value to customers.

According to a Techcombank representative, the idea for Auto-Invest stemmed from the observation that customers often hold temporarily idle funds in their checking accounts, earning almost no interest. After 18 months of research, Techcombank launched the first version in 1/2024, based on three key principles: safety, flexibility, and profitability.

In 2025, the bank upgraded the product to version 2.0, enabling interest accrual on the entire balance. Techcombank attributes this achievement to its robust technology platform and the development of specialized modules with intelligent algorithms that optimize and adjust dynamically to each customer's needs.

Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Director of Techcombank's Retail Banking Division, stated that the awards represent international recognition of the bank's financial solutions.

"With our customer-centric commitment, Techcombank will continuously refine and enhance our solutions, introducing new features and benefits to this product to meet the diverse needs of our customer segments," Linh shared.

By the end of Quarter II/2025, over 4.1 million customers had used Auto-Invest, contributing to Techcombank's record-high CASA balance. To express gratitude to its customers, the bank launched the "Invest and Win Big" promotional program with prizes including Masterise Homes apartments, VinFast electric vehicles, iPhones, AirPods, and various shopping and entertainment vouchers. Additionally, customers who convert their earned interest into U-Points receive double the value for use within the Techcombank Rewards ecosystem.
