In parallel, the organization plays a crucial role in increasing its presence in Vietnam through specialized workshops, contributing to a transparent and standardized EB-5 ecosystem.
In the US, IIUSA (Invest in the USA) engages in policy advocacy with Congress and dialogues with US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Established in 2005, the organization's mission is to promote and develop the EB-5 program. It represents over 200 regional center members and more than 120 service provider members across 47 states and territories nationwide.
During the EB-5 reform phase, IIUSA played a significant role in guiding and advocating for policy, especially after the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act (RIA). The organization promotes standards for transparency, file oversight, and improved processing procedures, thereby helping to mitigate risks for investors.
Through annual workshops attended by EB-5 consulting firms (members, immigration lawyers, regional centers, and investors), IIUSA updates policies, provides data, and shares EB-5 market information with the community in Vietnam.

According to IIUSA statistics, Vietnam ranks among the top 5 largest EB-5 markets globally, accounting for approximately 10-15% of the total visas of this type issued between 2010 and 2023. For 2024 alone, the organization estimates that 12,000-14,000 EB-5 visas will be granted to Vietnamese investors and their families.
"This demonstrates strong demand and Vietnam's increasingly clear role on the global EB-5 map", a representative of the organization stated.
As the pivotal year of 2026 approaches, IIUSA forecasts that the EB-5 market will present new opportunities while also carrying potential risks. Policies related to the adjudication process and investment costs are likely to fluctuate significantly. Additionally, the risk of misleading or substandard advice increases if investors do not access official data sources. In this context, IIUSA aims to leverage its role as a leading organization with a strong voice and the capacity to shape the global market for investors and consulting firms. This ensures sound, secure, and sustainable investment decisions.
IIUSA also considers Vietnam a transparent market within the EB-5 landscape, where investment levels, project information, and market data are clearly and consistently published according to international standards. Building on this foundation, in 2026, the association plans to implement a series of in-depth workshops and forums in major cities. These events will provide timely updates on the latest industry changes and US visa policies, and directly connect Vietnamese consulting firms with a network of reputable global regional centers and immigration lawyers.
Beyond networking activities, IIUSA plans to establish a standardized cooperation platform, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam's EB-5 market in the post-2026 period. By becoming an IIUSA member, entities gain quick and official access to information directly from the US Congress and USCIS.
IIUSA members also have a voice in shaping EB-5 policy, helping to protect the long-term interests of the market and investors. Furthermore, the organization publishes and introduces EB-5 consulting firms on its website and in communication materials. This initiative aims to help domestic consulting firms establish their standing, increase investor trust, and create a competitive advantage. Through these efforts, IIUSA works to mitigate legal risks, enhance compliance standards, and protect client interests.
