This partnership builds on a successful trial of the G2P system at Qazpost’s Astana order fulfillment center. The solution utilizes AMR technology to transport entire shelves directly to picking personnel. This method significantly boosts operational efficiency and minimizes errors in the picking process.
Following these promising trial results, Qazpost will continue to gather customer requirements. They will then collaborate with Toshiba to develop optimized operational models and propose warehousing solutions based on Toshiba’s AMR technology. The cooperation also includes plans to relocate Toshiba’s AMR demonstration equipment from Astana to a customer facility for further real-world trials.
Toshiba aims to secure new orders for this system in the first half of fiscal year 2026. With Central Asia emerging as a new logistics hub, the corporation is committed to driving innovation and enhancing operational efficiency in the region’s postal and logistics sector. Toshiba previously demonstrated a solution for improving postal sorting efficiency in Azerbaijan in 3/2025, further underscoring its regional focus.
