The year-end period is a peak time for many businesses, marked by accumulated year-end reviews, business targets, and deadline pressures. Employee health is often affected by stress, overtime, sleep disturbances, and changing weather. According to the Gallup Global Emotions report in 2023, 44% of Vietnamese adults frequently experience stress. The Ministry of Health records approximately 200,000 stroke cases annually, with 25% occurring in individuals under 45 years old, a key working demographic. Hospitals also report a 30-50% increase in respiratory illnesses towards the end of the year.
Given this situation, many businesses are focusing more on health benefits, rather than just year-end bonuses. The Deloitte Global Human Capital Trends 2024 report indicates that 79% of business leaders globally consider health benefits a strategic priority for their organizations. This trend is also significantly impacting the Vietnamese market, as many businesses begin to expand health support programs for their employees.
Recent human resources surveys also highlight health benefits as the second most important factor influencing employee engagement, especially among Gen Y and Gen Z. According to Adecco Vietnam, 63% of employees desire physical and mental health support during peak periods.

Viewing employee health as the foundation for sustainable development, many businesses have implemented new benefit models. A technology company with over 1,500 employees in TP HCM has adopted a "Year-end Health" program, which includes advanced check-ups and stress counseling. A manufacturing enterprise in Binh Duong has incorporated health gifts into its annual appreciation activities, extending care to employees' families.
A retail group in Ha Noi has rolled out a comprehensive quarterly health care package to conduct physical examinations, measure nutritional indicators, and provide mental health training. Similarly, a logistics service company in Dong Nai has added support for exercise costs, such as yoga, swimming, and gym memberships, to its monthly benefits to encourage employees to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Many health gift sets are prioritized in 2026. Photo: Daedong
Especially at year-end, many businesses prioritize health gift sets to meet practical needs, as seasons change, workloads increase, and employees require better health care.
Health gift sets are highly valued by many businesses for their practicality, suitability for diverse staff groups, and elegant design, making them appropriate for both internal gifting and partners. Businesses can choose flexible budget levels while still ensuring a meaningful token of appreciation. Some gift sets even include products for young children, demonstrating care for employees' families.
Examples include: red apple reishi water (supports sleep), deer antler red ginseng water (supports physical recovery), and red ginseng jelly for children two - five years old and six - 13 years old. These liquid or jelly products are easy for daily use.

A clear trend in 2025 is businesses wanting to experience products before selecting health gift sets. Direct trials help evaluate suitability, taste, safety, and convenience.
Currently, a nationwide product trial event, organized by a Korean ginseng brand in collaboration with the Korean Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), is taking place at over 30 locations across the country until 18/1/2026. Businesses can directly experience red ginseng jelly, red apple reishi water, and deer antler red ginseng water – products commonly featured in year-end gift sets.
Many businesses participating in the event shared that the trial experience helped them easily select suitable products for their large and diverse workforces, especially in the manufacturing and service industries.
