The scope of work includes developing and implementing marketing campaigns, organizing fairs and roadshows, workshops, coordinating tour product development, and connecting tourism businesses between the two countries. The representative will also handle press and media activities, such as drafting press releases, preparing promotional materials, and organizing media familiarization trips to Malaysia. Market research and strategic recommendations are also key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is a Vietnamese citizen, fluent in both Vietnamese and English, and able to travel domestically and internationally. They should have at least 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or tourism, a strong understanding of the northern Vietnam tourism market, and excellent communication and event organization skills.

The successful candidate will sign a 12-month contract from 15/10/2025 to 14/10/2026 with a monthly salary of 1,384 USD (equivalent to over 36 million VND). A maximum monthly allowance of 616 USD (approximately over 16 million VND) will be provided for travel, hospitality, and events (subject to prior approval), payable in USD (inclusive of taxes and administrative fees).

Interested marketing representatives should submit a portfolio, nominee information, a 12-month marketing plan for the northern Vietnam market, a reference letter from previous clients, and a detailed price quote. Applications should be sent to the Tourism Malaysia office at Room 1208, 12th Floor, Me Linh Point Tower, 2 Ngo Duc Ke Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and a soft copy emailed to Ms. Do Phan Vinh Hai (vinhhai@tourism.gov.my).

The application deadline is 5 PM on 10/9. Tourism Malaysia will evaluate submissions based on four criteria: experience and achievements (30%), personnel capacity (25%), creativity and quality of the marketing plan (25%), and cost competitiveness (20%).

Tourism Malaysia, under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, is responsible for promoting Malaysia as a preferred tourist destination.
