The company has implemented a phased approach to emissions reduction, focusing on key areas: energy conservation, packaging optimization, and waste reduction. To identify primary emission sources, Uniben conducts greenhouse gas inventories based on the IPCC 2006 Guidelines and the ISO 14064-1:2018 international standard, applying Scopes 1, 2, and 3. This annual inventory informs the management's effective emissions reduction strategies, aligning with ESG standards.
"Our European-standard factories not only ensure quality and food safety according to FSSC 22000 standards but also provide a platform for integrating energy-saving and material optimization measures," a company representative explained.
