On the afternoon of 13/9, UOB Vietnam hosted the 2025 UOB Heartbeat Run at P2 Park in Phu My Hung, Ho Chi Minh City. The eighth annual event attracted over 2,000 staff, clients, partners, and their families, participating in 3km, 5km, and 10km races.
For every kilometer completed, UOB Vietnam donated 30,000 VND to the UOB Heartbeat fund. In addition, UOB Vietnam staff, partners, and clients organized a charity fair at the event, with all proceeds also going to the fund.

Two months prior, bank employees organized internal fundraising activities, including a concert and the sale of items like crossbody bags, tote bags, UOB Heartbeat t-shirts made from recycled materials, and stuffed animals made by people with disabilities. The total amount raised exceeded 940 million VND, the highest since the program began in Vietnam.
The donation will be given to Saigon Children's Charity CIO to equip three computer rooms for nearly 2,000 students at Luong The Vinh, Vo Truong Toan, and Nguyen Van Troi Secondary Schools in An Giang province. This is part of UOB Vietnam's five-year commitment (2023-2027) to equip a total of five computer rooms for students in the Mekong Delta region.
