UPS has completed its acquisition of Andlauer Healthcare Group (AHG), a specialized healthcare supply chain management company in North America. This acquisition strengthens UPS Healthcare's operational capabilities and control over temperature-sensitive products across the region, while enhancing delivery efficiency and service quality.
The acquisition significantly expands UPS's operations in Canada, reinforcing specialized cold chain services for pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and other medical therapies. Integrating AHG's infrastructure, transportation assets, and expertise allows UPS to provide safer, more reliable temperature-controlled shipping solutions, meeting the growing demand for logistics in the healthcare industry.
With an operational network spanning over 200 countries, UPS will leverage AHG's system to shorten transit times, enhance monitoring capabilities, and ensure quality standards for cold chain medical shipments.
