V-Green Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Post Corporation have signed a strategic partnership to deploy over 16,000 electric motorbike battery swap stations and approximately 2,000 parking spots integrated with electric oto charging poles across Vietnam. Announced on 20/5, this collaboration aims to significantly expand green transportation infrastructure and enhance convenience for VinFast electric vehicle (EV) users nationwide.
Under the agreement, V-Green and Vietnam Post plan to install and operate a minimum of 11,000 electric motorbike battery swap stations this year. Additionally, the two parties will develop 170 electric oto charging stations, providing nearly 2,000 charging guns for VinFast users. This extensive infrastructure will be located at over 13,000 Vietnam Post service points across the country, ensuring an average distance of 2,82 km between points, with at least one location in every commune or ward.

The agreement outlines Vietnam Post's role in providing suitable premises, power connection points, and some operational services for the charging stations and battery swap cabinets. V-Green will be responsible for the investment in planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of the equipment throughout the partnership. Both parties will also integrate digital operation and payment systems through the Vietnam Post and PostPay ecosystems to optimize user experience.
This collaboration is part of a broader strategic agreement between Vingroup Corporation and Vietnam Post Corporation.
Nguyen Viet Quang, Deputy Chairman and General Director of Vingroup Corporation, stated that the agreement with Vietnam Post will enable V-Green to rapidly expand its charging infrastructure and battery swap stations for VinFast electric vehicles in all localities, thereby encouraging people to use green transportation.
Chu Quang Hao, a board member and General Director of Vietnam Post, noted that the partnership will open new development directions and effectively leverage Vietnam Post's service network for the public. "This is a suitable step aligned with the Corporation's direction to innovate operating models, creating a push for people to switch to green transportation," he added.
Since the beginning of the year, V-Green has consistently expanded its electric vehicle charging infrastructure and battery swap stations through strategic partnerships with major, multi-sector enterprises such as The Gioi Di Dong, Media Mart, FPT Shop, Viettel Telecom, and Sun World Ba Na Hills. This infrastructure expansion supports electric vehicle users and contributes to the government's Net Zero target by 2050.
