Vedan Vietnam accompanies scholarship program for 15 years

Vedan Vietnam contributes 150 million VND to a scholarship program in Dong Nai, supporting 308 students in the 2026-2027 academic year and marking 15 years of partnership.

Vedan Vietnam Company Limited, in collaboration with the Dong Nai City Study Promotion Association and the Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio-Television Station, organized the 15th "Empowering Students to Overcome Difficulties and Study Well" program on 2/10. This event supports September, the month for study promotion, Vietnam Study Promotion Day, and the 2026 Lifelong Learning Week.

Vedan Vietnam has participated since the program's inception, consistently contributing 150 million VND annually over the past 15 years. This ongoing support enables the Dong Nai Study Promotion Association to award scholarships to disabled students facing financial hardship in the area. The company aims to help alleviate educational costs and offer encouragement, fostering confidence and perseverance in their academic pursuits for a brighter future.

This year, the program awarded scholarships to 308 disabled students who have overcome difficulties and consistently strived for excellence. The recipients include 280 school students: 32 elementary students, 119 middle school students, and 87 high school students. Additionally, 10 college students and 32 university students received support, with 28 students also granted one-time scholarships for overcoming challenges. Furthermore, 50 disabled students who achieved good or excellent results in the 2025-2026 academic year were recognized with a reward of 500,000 VND each.

During the event, the Dong Nai City Study Promotion Association presented an appreciation plaque to Vedan Vietnam, acknowledging the company's contributions to educational and talent promotion efforts and its support for students in difficult circumstances. This recognition also marks Vedan's 35-year journey of commitment and partnership with the local community.

Annually, the company allocates a portion of its profits to community initiatives such as scholarships, building charity homes, humanitarian blood donation, providing free medical examinations, and assisting residents in recovering from natural disasters.
