Addressing climate change, forest degradation, and soil erosion requires long-term resources and multi-stakeholder participation. In response, Vietcap launched Go Green Go Up 2026 with the message, "Joining hands to green forests – Strengthening flood defenses". This initiative connects investor transactions with forest planting and restoration projects.

For season two, each eligible transaction on Vietcap is recorded and converted into a corresponding number of trees, allowing investors to track their contributions. Vietcap fully funds the implementation costs and resources, transforming digital conversions into tangible local activities.

Vietcap collaborates with specialized organizations, forest management units, and local authorities to select projects suitable for each region's characteristics. This approach, initiated in the first season in 2025, expanded this year. It integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into the investment experience, making them more concrete and trackable.

Of the 8,000 trees donated in season two, Vietcap allocated 3,500 trees to TreeBank, part of the Research Institute for Media Development. These trees support the "Bamboo for Flood Control" project in Tuong Duong commune, within the buffer zone of the western Nghe An Biosphere Reserve. Local management agencies and related units actively participate in this initiative.

Bamboo was chosen for this region due to its natural characteristics, as the area frequently experiences floods. Its root system can hold soil, reduce erosion, and support protective functions, aligning with the project's objectives.

The remaining 4,500 trees were donated by Vietcap to the "Forest Garden" project at Nui Ong Nature Reserve. This project is a collaboration with the Joy Foundation social enterprise and the reserve management board. It focuses on supplementing vegetation in degraded forest areas and fostering the growth of native species.

While implemented in two areas with different natural conditions, all activities share the goal of enhancing forest protection and adapting to climate change impacts. The varied selection of locations and models demonstrates that the program does not apply a single method but adapts to the specific needs of each area.

After its first season at Dau Tieng Protective Forest, Go Green Go Up expanded to western Nghe An and Nui Ong Nature Reserve this year. Across two seasons, Vietcap has donated a total of 14,000 trees at three locations, serving diverse objectives such as increasing forest cover, strengthening protective functions, supplementing vegetation, and supporting biodiversity.

A Vietcap representative stated that Go Green Go Up connects investor transactions with concrete contributions to society and the environment. When individual contributions are amplified, they create long-term value in areas needing restoration and conservation. The representative added, "We aim to expand the meaning of the investment journey with our customers, thereby contributing more resources to the community and Vietnam's future."

Based on the results from two seasons, Vietcap plans to sustain Go Green Go Up long-term. It will continue selecting models appropriate for each locality's conditions. This approach expands the investment experience from financial activities to specific environmental and community contributions.
