Launched to commemorate the 80th anniversary of National Day, VietinBank's campaign aims to foster patriotism among young people, encouraging them to appreciate and uphold traditional cultural values.
As part of the campaign, VietinBank collaborated with Beat Network to release a video titled "Nearly 4 Decades of VietinBank: Fueling Vietnam's Aspirations." The video showcases VietinBank's nearly 40-year journey alongside the nation's development, highlighting its digital transformation, the development of an intelligent financial ecosystem, and its commitment to providing international-standard banking experiences.
A highlight of the campaign is the "Money Tells a Proud Story" series, comprising five posts that revisit Vietnam's monetary history through different periods, sharing the stories behind the landmarks featured on Vietnamese banknotes. The series begins with the 100, 200, and 500 dong cotton notes, evoking nostalgia for many generations. It then covers the 1985 currency exchange and the introduction of the 1,000, 2,000, and 5,000 dong notes, reflecting a turning point in economic reform. The following post recalls the 2003 issuance of polymer banknotes, marking technological advancements, enhanced anti-counterfeiting measures, and the nation's integration process.

The series concludes by introducing the limited-edition VietinBank Visa Signature card commemorating the 80th National Day, featuring the national flag. According to a bank representative, the card serves as both a modern transaction tool and a symbolic representation, evoking national pride and inspiring the younger generation to inherit this legacy and confidently step into the future.
"Through this series, I understand that money is not just for transactions, but also a historical and cultural witness, preserving values that the younger generation needs to carry forward," Nguyen Hieu (Hanoi) shared.
Beyond media products, the campaign also features the "Passing on Wishes - Igniting Pride" photo series, capturing messages from VietinBank staff to the nation for National Day. These wishes were shared on social media, attracting public attention.
"This campaign not only honors historical values and our sacred national spirit but also continues the flow of pride by passing on to the younger generation the flame of aspiration, innovation, and love for the country," a bank representative shared.
