With 576 aircraft on order, Vietjet is among the few airlines globally with the largest orders, despite the global aircraft shortage. Across over 170 international and domestic routes, the airline has transported over 250 million passengers, becoming a bridge connecting Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific region to the world, from Japan, South Korea, India, and China to Australia and Europe.
The handover ceremony of the first Boeing 737-8 to Vietjet coincided with the 30th anniversary of the normalization of Vietnam - US relations.
