Vietjet receives new wide-body A330 aircraft from Airbus

Vietjet received a new wide-body A330 aircraft from Airbus on 14/9, bringing its total fleet to 121 aircraft. The addition supports the airline's international network expansion and upcoming peak season.

The A330 is equipped with modern, fuel-efficient Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines. The aircraft will operate on routes to Australia, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, and Europe, offering passengers a comfortable and modern flight experience. The aircraft's livery features a gold silk ribbon alongside Vietjet’s signature red and gold colors, symbolizing cultural integration and connection.

Vietjet operates a modern fleet and has over 400 aircraft on order from Airbus and Boeing, scheduled for delivery by 2030. The airline plans to continue expanding its network, implementing new technologies, optimizing operations, increasing investor value, and providing safe and memorable journeys for global passengers.

Vietjet is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and holds the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification. The airline has a 7-star safety rating from AirlineRatings and is among the top 50 airlines globally, according to AirFinance Journal. Vietjet has also been recognized as the best low-cost airline by Skytrax, CAPA, and AirlineRatings on numerous occasions.
