Vietjet's activities fuel passion for the Vietnamese national team on flights

On flights to Bangkok, Vietjet decorated aircraft with banners and engaged with passengers, creating a vibrant atmosphere at an altitude of 10,000 m.

The first leg of the ASEAN Cup 2026 final between Vietnam and Thailand took place on the evening of 22/8 at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok. From the morning of 21/8, Vietjet flights to Bangkok saw many passengers carrying fan scarves and team-related merchandise. Vietjet also prepared fan scarves and gifts for passengers, adding to the pre-final festivities.

The journey to Bangkok also served as an opportunity for fans to combine watching football with tourism. Hieu Trung, 33, from TP HCM, shared that his family took their children to Thailand for a summer vacation and to directly follow the Vietnamese national team's match. "The cabin crew were friendly and enthusiastic. The cheering atmosphere on the flight was joyful and exciting, making the family's journey even more memorable", Trung said.

The cooperation agreement between the two entities was announced on 13/7, facilitated by Sportfive, the exclusive commercial partner of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). This partnership aims to enhance fan connectivity with leading regional football tournaments and expand activities for the Southeast Asian football community.
